100 miles from Vancouver on a Gulf Island named West Redonda on Desolation Sound there is a water access only community called Refuge Cove. We have a historic cabin at the end of The Cove comprised of two 1930´s bunkhouses joined together. They are clad in original shingles and supported on pilings. At high tide the cabins are over the water! |

The fishing is excellent with salt-water fishing for salmon just outside the doors. The swimming is excellent as the summer waters are usually warmer than anywhere else on the West Coast. And 10 minute away, on the island, there is a large pristine lake seldom visited by two legged mammals. |

| The cabin is available for rent if you don´t mind being off of the grid and relying on a wood stove, gas lights, and absence of cars and roads. |
